The changeover to PowerPax chillers in the existing HVAC system at Four Points by Sheraton in Sydney’s Darling Harbour achieved significant power savings and allowed very accurate monitoring and prediction of the absorbed power, courtesy of the unique part-load features of the PowerPax chillers. The plant totals approximately 2.2 MW and each of the two chillers was delivered in dual circuit option to the customer’s specification. Four Points by Sheraton has seen energy efficiency increases of 50%. With savings such as these, the switch to PowerPax chillers pays for itself very quickly. |
