Career Opportunity – Pressure Vessel Draftsman/Draftswoman

SMARDT CHILLER GROUP INC is the world’s largest manufacturer of oil-free centrifugal chillers. Based in Montreal, with factories in Melbourne, Australia and Montreal, Smardt’s high efficiency machines are driving rapid growth across several key world markets. Our Montreal location now has an opening for a Pressure Vessel Draftsman/Draftswoman to join our team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience drafting pressure vessels is a must
• Fluent in English (written and oral), Functional French (oral)
• Strong knowledge of ASME BPV Code, welding, fabrication, planning and bills of material is a requirement
• Very proficient with Autocad (Inventor experience would be an asset)

Responsibilities:

• Drafting of Pressure vessels and chiller parts in 2D and 3D using Autocad and Inventor
• Compiling Bills of Materials
• Reviewing drawings for Code compliance, fabrication and welding
